Remove old BT ID

Hello,

When I log into my BT account it automatically defaults to an old BT ID. My broadband is registered to a new ID, I can change ID only on the billing screen and nothing else (I cannot go onto my content to claim my free Xbox Gamepass as it doesn't let me change ID here.

Is it possible to remove my old BT ID from my account and only have the new 1 registered?

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Community. The quickest way to get that old account removed is by calling BT on 0330 1234 150.

If you don't mind waiting a few days, one of the moderators can do this for you. We're working through a bit of a backlog at the moment so it will take a few days before we will be able to get back to you.
