I have just setup my box and have exactly the same issue where I have BBC london rather than BBC Scotland

I have the same issue. No option to change on the BT Box. Switched it off last night at the wall and it has made no differecnce.
Any other ideas?
When is your activation date @iainrmackay ? It'll be in your order confirmation email.

The service was connected yesterday (30th October 2023).

Not quite following you. You've had the box for over 3 months and just connected it yesterday?
It's the TV service activation date (not order date) that determines when your box will pick up the correct TV region - 24-48 hours after that date.
If it's been longer than 48 hours since activation date, email your BT account number to me at tv.apps@bt.com
