Digital voice

I have Smart Hub 2 and my BT premium digital phone is plugged into my Open Reach modem, when digital voice starts will I need an adapter to use this phone?

No, just plug it into the hub instead

This results in amessage' Line error fault' on the phone screen
This is removed when I put the phone line back into the modem
