Hi everyone, I had same infuriating time consuming and incredibly inconvenient problem. Yes it was solved by disconnecting the batteries on my two (out of my four) Alexa handsets. Then job done - after reconnecting the Alexa sets it all worked OK again. Another software problem which shouldn’t exist for BT to solve.
Got rid of Alexa phone for Standard handsets problem solved
Many thanks for this, morrig47. Although I'd noticed the dead batteries on one phone I never thought that could be connected. It would be helpful for the user-guide to have some trouble-shooting information.
Thanks for coming to the community and letting us know the advice in this thread helped resolve this for you @riccardoh
Leanne 🙂
Since this thread is one of the highest Google results for this problem, I think I'd better add my own experience with a similar problem.
The setup was: BT Digital Hub, BT3560 cordless phone plugged into the hub. BT Decor corded phone plugged into a separate digital voice adapter upstairs. Incoming calls would go to voicemail after one ring of the cordless phone. There was no dial tone on the corded phone.
After unplugging and replugging the digital voice adapter from the mains, the corded phone gave an engaged tone but incoming calls no longer divert to voicemail.
Morning @john_e
