Would 1471 be better if it gave the time of the last call before the caller number?

 

As it is, apart from withheld calls, you have to listen to an eleven digit number to find out it's a last call you already know about?

 

Just done a quick calculation and it takes around 14 seconds to read out "Telephone number" plus those 11 digits.

 

Apart from getting rid of the irritation, how much would all those 14 seconds save BT in power usage over a year?
