I think the networking team really need to manually configure fibre optic line profiles for various customers, yes the speeds will be great but many things are not. The standard MTU for most ISP's is 1500 but have an option to adjust, bt don't so as a result I suffer from major packet loss which make online games impossible to play. And to get something like this altered it will take around two weeks with all the escalation.. I have a latency averaging 180ms due to a 2week still ongoing fault..!
