<p>From 31 October 2024, BT Cloud has <a href="https://www.bt.com/help/broadband/bt-cloud/getting-set-up/download-or-access-files/how-do-i-download-files--folders-and-devices-from-bt-cloud-">closed</a> and all data will soon be deleted.</p>
Simple really, Give users a choice of an OpenWRt enabled device or enable root access to your home hub hardware for advanced users, you could even make such users sign a weaver that says they won't recieve customer support for the hardware.
