I'm not sure if Sky would allow this. They restrict which of their channels are available via other companies, if they didn't everyone would sign up with a competitor and they would lose out on the contracts 🙂

Your right, Sky will only allow it if its profitable and right for them, or they are forced to do it.

Hilly, you can get Sky Sports news on basic freeview 🙂
