THOUGHTS PLEASE: PROXY BROWSER FILTER

I would be incredibly grateful if in the Parental Controls section there was a specific filter for proxy site browsing, as the ability to access proxy browsers negates the entire point of all the other filters.

I'm sure linking it to a frequently updated list of proxy browser sites would make this an effective measure and I sincerely hope someone at BT enables this function promptly.

Or have I overlooked something and this function is already there?

If you can identify a specific site, you can add it to the blocked sites list.

I guess that there are too many sites to keep it updated.

Thanks Keith, but surely that logic would apply to pornography sites etc etc of which there are many also?  I know that their are institutions that regualrly update these lists and surely it is not beyond an organisation like BT to copy and paste from that?  As I say, without this feature all the other features don't work as any remotely tech savvy users simply google proxy browser and go from there, working around all other safeguards!?

Not really, you would have to ask BT about that.

I use OpenDNS, and that does have a category for proxies, but it does rely on users adding new ones when they come across them.
