Just another dampener when you feel because you can't afford the up-to-date iPhone or you haven't bought one from BT. for example I gave my old one to my daughter which I had brought from a eBay shop and the phone I've got is only just 2 years old and is running on Oreo and I haven't got Wi-Fi calling yet so god knows how long she'll have to wait..
