Re: Broadband renewing

Anyone can pay the bill. It does not need to be the account holder.

Re: Broadband renewing

Are you really paying £275 per 3 months (£91.67/month) for your Mother's broadband and phone service?

If so, you urgently need to either negotiate a better deal with BT, or move broadband provider. New customers of ISPs are typically offered deals at around £30/month with another £3/month for a phone service. You might not get this with BT as an existing customer but you should be able to get something like £40-45/month, albeit on a 2 yr contract.

Re: Broadband renewing

@chrisjp  It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the OP (or whomever it is that actually has the service) is paying an absurd amount of money every month. I think we've all gleaned enough from reading this forum, that there are plenty of people out there that are paying far more than they need to, but, it's for the most part through choice, or in some cases, too much money to care, or it's just too much hassle. Great for BT's profits though.
