Game pass unlink

Can someone help me with getting my previous BT xbox game pass subscription unlinked from my Microsoft account. Have closed my BT account and the game pass has stopped but my Microsoft account still says there is an active subscription with BT. the link they give takes to my BT account. But I have no active products to be able to cancel. Microsoft are unable to delink and have directed me to BT. And I’m unable to start an paid subscription on my own due to this old linking with my old BT account.
