Hello

I have the same issue, trying to activate my Xbox game pass offer under the products section in my account but it keeps telling me the service is under “maintenance”?

I call the helpline and none of the options seem related to this issue.

Please help me activate the offer, I should be entitled to 12 months free

Call them option 1 and then 2. Speak to an advisor and they will fill in a form after checking some details. Should then be up to a week to get your code. Good luck.

I can see you've had some helpful advice from @Barnaby2 to help you get this activated. 

Just to add, you would need to wait 14 days after the contract was set up before trying to activate the Game Pass. 

If you have had the contract longer than 14 days, please call us as advised 🙂

Still waiting for mine since august, I'm not going to keep phoning just to get the run around. All I want is an email to send the details so they can email me a 12 month code for game pass ultimate.

It was an offer when I took out the broadband but if BT cant honour it then my contract can be cancelled.

I am sorry you have not received the Game Pass after contacting us. 

How long ago did you last call? 

Did the team advise they have sent a webform to the relevant team to be looked into?

Hi there 

 

I can not belive how long this has been going on for already. What the hell. I have just seen so many messages here dating back months & months... for weeks now I have had the same issue can someone PLEASE also send me details. I have been through on the phone hours and days worth of calls.

Promises keep being told that they will sort it and the relevant department will email me a code yet STILL nothing I'm sick of calling and explaining when clearly it is well and truly known it is a problem and has been by the looks of it for months and maintenance on a website does not take that long to do!

 

Can you please assist me too @NeilO  thank you

There are no moderators left who have account access anymore.

Select the 'message now' option on this link https://www.bt.com/help/contact-bt/account-and-billing/broadband to have a live chat with a billing guide, they'll get you sorted.

Raise it as a formal complaint.  It will then get a number allocated and they will have to contact you.  They can not close the complaint until they have fixed it and it will appear as a dreaded statistic against their KPIs.  If it takes along time you can start demanding compensation as it is formally recorded.  It shouldn't be so difficult but BT do not appear to have the capability to fix these problems.

I am sorry you have not had the Game Pass activated after contacting the team. 

Can I just check, how long ago was the webform sent to the support team? 

Have you checked your spam/junk folder to see if you have received an email?
