OK so when I go to the BT website they have an offer for Fibre 500 for £30.99 for 24 months for a new contract...
my current contract is for 75mb for £32/month, contracted until Dec'23...
when I log in and go to my 'upgrade offers' it shows Fibre 500 for £40.77/month.....but it also says on the option there is a price promise that I will never pay more for a re contract than a new customer will pay....
it is clearly £10/month more expensive.....
any thoughts?
The halo price promisre is on halo packages & the 30.99 isn't so it won't matter. Bigger issue you have is you're in a contract so won't be able to change to a lower price with as long left on it too
I think the £30.99 price is broadband only so do you currently have a broadband and phone which is more expensive
