The fault was raised over the phone with a customer service colleague. Without sounding rude they didn’t really have much idea how to resolve the issue apart from the standard reset router eyc
after searching this forum does seem like a fairly common error.
Shall I report this as a fault online as well?

Hi, @Fhafez I'm sorry you're experiencing problems with your digital voice service. I've started your own thread to avoid confusion with the solved post. There's no need to re-report the fault online if you've already raised it, these issues can often be complex and need to be referred to specialists by the helpdesk so I presume that's what happened after you contacted the helpdesk.
