Sky Q tv installation disconnecting ring door camera

Sky Q tv installation has caused ring door camera to stop working. Read a lot online that the sky Q mini boxes cause a mesh network which causes the ring camera to drop off

ive tried logging into BT admin page disconnecting all 5 GHz devices on the network and try and reconnect the ring camera that way but still ineffective

has anyone solved this

Re: Sky Q tv installation disconnecting ring door camera

SKY Q uses channel 36 so you need to change hub wifi channel from smart to say channel 44 or 48 also doing as you have by turning off 5ghz in hub and connecting ring cameras to 2.4ghz and once connected restart the 5ghz wifi seems to work for others

Re: Sky Q tv installation disconnecting ring door camera

No luck - i turned off 5ghz and still not able to connect the ring camera. i also went on the sky q boxes and turned of 2.4ghz connectivity as both 2.4 and 5 were set to on.

Also tried changing the channel on 2.4ghz, no luck their either

Re: Sky Q tv installation disconnecting ring door camera

I assume you are using ring app so does the camera 'see' the hub SSID with strong signal?

Have you reset camera back to factory settings and started again
