10GB Limit Rollover

10GB Limit Rollover

I think BT should Rollover any unused Broadband Allowance.I myself being an Option 1 - 10GB a Month user never used to use all my Allowance but now at the moment due to my daughter having an iphone, she has sent my Allowance Near and Over my Allowance a few times,I also do not wish to renew my contract with BT - losing my free evening calls and only getting weekend calls (plus my partner doesn't want to move from BT).BT are happy enough to e-mail me when I am near my limit, but theres been a few times when I have received it after the fact I have gone over and it also being at least 24hrs behind my usage, also they average out my Allowance when it comes to increase my payments when I have gone over, and my Average has been 9GB per month over 3 months, which on Average means I don't go over.So for the low users (who also maybe on a low wage/unemployed) who may occasionally go over their Allowance I think BT should credit them or Rollover what Allowance they don't use.

Not a hope, any more than there is of getting mobile phone companies to stack up unused minutes. Monthly usage is monthly usage; if it's insufficient you have to cut the usage or up the contract.

If your daughter's iPhone habit is a problem and you are opted in to free BT Wi-Fi you could restrict her to using that. You can enter the log-in details on her phone yourself if you don't want to reveal them.
