So after spending over an hour on the website going round in circles to eventually find a phone number to ring, then waiting 45mins for the phone to answer, then spending 30mins being passed to four different departments... Rather than being allowed to cancel my contract I got a salesman on the end of the phone trying to sell me BT TV.
After spending 15 minutes telling him I didnt want to buy anything else and I wanted to just cancel I got the "can I put you on hold while I change to a different system?" Routine... Then after being on hold 10 minutes, they hung up!!
I can change billing details, change payment methods, change pay dates, make a payment... Why can't I just click a button to cancel online!!! The bill for 3 hours of my time (a professional engineer, not cheap) is in the post.
