I recently upgraded my NAS drive on my home network and this new drive is DLNA compatible, the problem is that my 42” Panasonic Plasma TV is not, meaning I can’t watch or listen to media that’s on my NAS drive on it without some sort of device converting it to a signal that my TV can accept, then I thought why can’t my BT vision box do this for me, it’s connected to my network and my TV!
If there was an option in the menu to scan for DLNA devices on network you could play these files direct on to your TV and wouldn’t have to pay to upgrade your TV, that would definitely be a reason to have and keep BT vision.
