It would be helpful to be able to know who is replying to who. When threads "drift" it is difficult to sort and know if a reply is to a particular posting or not.
You can always use the Quote option on the editor, as long as you reply to the thread that the person wrote.
You can edit out the actual quote itself, just leave the persons name.
You could simply add to whom you are replying as I have done in this post.
