Thanks @licquorice  😊 👍 I thought so, but I’m still showing fibre 1 as my only option on BT’s website though. Think the mods can maybe help me here?

Hi guys. 

Fibre 2 ordered and order complete. 

Checked and the router is still capped at 55/10 it seems. It won’t sync any quicker. 


Any ideas? I should be getting 70 odd / 15 according to the routers maximum available speed.

Tuesday this week I believe. 

do I need openreach to change anything on the fibre port or can bt customer service sort it?

Thanks for your posts and welcome back.

Sorry for the problems with your broadband speed.  I understand that from the outset you intended to go straight on to Fibre 2 but it was only showing Fibre 1 speeds available at that time.  Going by your Hub stats, your line is definitely capable of the Fibre 2 speeds.  I'm sorry that the upgrade hasn't made any change to your speed.

There is no need for an engineer to visit as we can remotely change your speeds to the Fibre 2 product from here.  I have sent you a private message with instructions on how you can send us over your details and we'll look into this for you. See: Private messages
