@linkyyork Were you happy with the hub upstairs? If so you could run an Ethernet cable from the ONT to the hub. You can buy pre terminated “patch” cat6 (or 5e - a bit thinner overall - will be fine upto 1Gbps) cables of various lengths that’ll be fine. The advantage being having easier direct access to the Ethernet ports on the hub where you want them. And more height is always good for general WiFi coverage around the house. You could of course make cables up yourself if you fancy it.

@pddco I had considered moving the hub but as the OP previously only had FTTC we don't know if the speed to devices was governed by the line speed or the WiFi if you see what I mean.
