BT for Dummies in the form of a pdf

0 Ratings

I can use Microsoft Excel including the use of formulas and Microsoft Word, I have also some simple programming experience.  However, as a pensioner I have trouble keeping up with BT technology and the changes to the online access to my account, Primary BT ID, etc.  I don't find the BT help very helpful, consequently, it seems to me that an online BT for Dummies, in the form of a pdf with an index at the beginning, would be very useful, particularly for those that are completely computer illiterate or a bit dim like me.  This could easily be updated as things change

Strangely enough, with the help of , in this thread that I posted:-

https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/Do-I-have-to-use-my-btinternet-com-email-address-for-bills-etc/td-...

I found this "Dummies guide to BT Wi-fi":-

http://www.btwifi.co.uk/what-is-bt-wi-fi/index.jsp

That is the sort of thing that I was asking for, but covering all "BT technology and the changes to the online access to my account" in one pdf.  It would also include things such as how to downgrade to BT Sport Lite:-

http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/products/manage/bt-sport/od-bttv-1SdQF7Lbc4.html?s_cid=con_FUR...

Which is in this thread here:-

https://community.bt.com/t5/Bills-Packages/Downgrade-to-BT-Sport-Lite/m-p/1514148#M56361

I had previously found it, and it took me 20 mins of searching 😞

What I am saying is that all these items should be put in one place such as a "BT for Dummies" pdf.

The BT Help pages are here http://www.bt.com/help/home/  and anything not there can usually be found using the search box.
